    Possibly. Do you think it's bumblefoot? She doesn't have a scab. Just a little tiny spot.

    Yes. She doesn't like to put weight on it. She is still eating and drinking though.

    What did you use for an oral antibiotic? I think my mallard has bumblefoot, but hers doesn't have the scab that is the telltale sign of bumblefoot. I've used the clear iodine, triple antibiotic ointment ointment, vetericyn, and I even started applying preparation H. The swelling is still there...

    Well I'm think the infection has gone farther than her foot. Her poop is now dark green and slimey in texture. The triple antibiotic ointment didn't show any difference. I started to use the preparation h a few days ago, and still no changes. I think I'm going to try medication now. Any ideas?

    I have switched to soaking daily. This is day 3. I have her in a large dog kennel so that could be one reason she's been sitting a lot. She still seems to be eating and drinking.     She is still not putting weight on her foot. The temperature of her foot is pretty warm, but the temperature of her leg is the same warmth as her other leg. The epsom salt is making her foot very soft.

    I've got a duck with bumblefoot and I've been looking at how to treat it. I have read about the clear iodine but I haven't read anything about a sugar wrap. Can you tell me more about this please?
