    This is precisely why I got the breed. All my other breeds are dual purpose, and horrible at paying their rent(eggs). Now Hopefully I hatch a BL rooster. Next Saturday is hatch day.

    So I'm super excited. My Welsummer has laid her first egg finally. I bought 5 hens and 5 roos in April and I'm down to the single pair. So the question is does this look fertile to you. It looks like the "start" of a bullseye to me?
