    Yeah, It a Recessive Gene, White Marans. If it's a hen and you let her hatch she could have black and/or white chicks mixed.

    I have a one week old baby chick who we were treating for poop butt. I noticed he wasn't laying down or pooping. Then I noticed a white thing in his vent almost like a very small egg it if i would discribing it to someone. Thanks a lot for any help for this little guy. Chad

    My first batch of chicks and I have one pasty butt chick who after cleaning and drying he won't lay down and I haven't seen him poop. I've been watching him and keeping him warm but then I noticed this... I would love any help to get this little guy through this. Thanks a lot. Chad
