    Call duck colors

    Does anyone know how to breed for butterscotch colors in call ducks? I have used a color calculator, but nothing I mix works. How was this color first found/bred? How to get more butterscotch if you have just one?

    I just bought some mountain quail that are about 6 months old. I wanted to know when do they reach maturity. I can't find any articles on the subject.

    Mixing It Up

    You have that backwards. Button quail are very aggressive. I raised them for years and they will attack anything repeatedly. Even chickens and ducks were assaulted. Group quail based on breed temperament. Bobwhites are calm and I believe so are gambles and California quail.
