    Thank you, it was very sad! They are only a year and a half so she had a short life 😭 but yes, he doesn’t have any wounds. Just sad and lonely :( they were inseparable 😔

    I noticed this on my chickens legs about a week ago. It has grown in the last week, it’s on both her legs in the same spot and none of my other chickens have it. She’s about a year and 7 months old… please help!!!

    I noticed this on my chickens legs tonight when I went to check on them. It’s about 10 degrees outside, she has them on both legs. The other chickens look like they are starting to get it too…. Any idea what it could be and what I can do to help them?! She seems bothered when I touch it 😭😭

    After she pooped it went away. Is she not ok if the swelling went away? She’s eating, drinking, and moving around just fine. I gave her extra calcium just in case.

    Thank you so much for your reply, I’m glad your chicken is ok :) I gave her a 20 minute warm bath and about 30 minutes later she had a big poop and all the swelling went away and she was so happy started eating and drinking water. She was so happy the whole time she was drying. I wonder what...

    Not sure if chicken is egg bound?! Help please!’

    I noticed today she was in waddling so I grabbed her as soon as I could. It was way more inflamed before I got it a little wet with warm water. Does this look egg bound or could it be a bad case of pasty butt?? I’m so scared I don’t want to lose her.
