    I have six girls and 3 nest boxes. One of my buffs, Babs, has a favorite nest box. If there is an egg in it she breaks the egg and throws it out and then lays her egg.     We have 3 buffs. Babs, Bunty and Eggwina. We had a Mrs. Tweedy but unfortunately she passed away. I can't use that name for another girlie. It's such a cute name for a chicken so that is my suggestion. "Mrs. Tweedy".

    Ok, so I got my first egg on the 9th, yipee. I got the secong egg yesterday. Both from the same girl, Bunty. How long before the other two, Babs and Eggwina start laying? All three are 29 week old buff orpingtons.
