    Surprisingly they hatched fine! They are absolutely adorable and I learn something new from every hatch so this time I learned that a moving air cell doesn’t equal certain death! Yay for the duckies! ❤🦆

    So I have 8 call duck eggs in the incubator...and 3 of them have a wiggly moving air cell....(you can see the fluid that the duckling is in moving around when you tilt it to candle) They’re on day 22..I’ve tried standing them up with larger side facing up but it never stuck... It’s still wobbly...

    My silkies won’t go in their coop at night... I have different flocks of silkies in different areas with nice coops attached to their fenced in yards but they won’t go in their coops at night! I have to pick them up one by one every night and put them inside their coop! Has anyone else ever...

    I spoke to a lady who raises Sebastopols and she said to wait until Day 28. All the literature that I’ve read has said that the average time for hatching goose eggs is 30 days. I just hatched a Pilgrim baby a few days ago and she hatched at 30 days. The other egg that was in the incubator...

    I have a Pomeranian goose egg in the bator... I’ve seen a slight dip in the air cell...(put the egg in lockdown last night)...Today is day 26. Should I put the egg back in the turner for another day or just leave it in lockdown?...I’ve looked all over the Internet and can’t find a specific...

    Good point! I’ve broken open many of her eggs before (as I use them for baking)and I’ve never seen a blastoderm.... They seem to have “sessions” every day so I thought maybe...but I guess not....😂

    So...I have a call drake mating with a Swedish duck...Has anyone ever heard of fertilized eggs resulting from a call drake and an average sized duck?... (I have 7 eggs in the incubator and wondering if I’m wasting my time and incubator space)... 😂

    Help! I didn’t hand turn eggs until day 5!

    Thanks for the info. ☺️ I have not been turning them from X to O...I have only been rotating the machine (tilting it so the eggs are being slightly rotated..from center to right..then back to center then to the left)...my cradle for my Brinsea gets here in 2 more days and it will rotate them...
