Hi :frow I'm in Brooklyn with 7 chicks, they are 6 days old and I still can't really believe they're here: 1 Ameraucana, 1 Lavender Orpington, 1 Laced Wyandotte, 2 Green queens and 2 White marans.
Thank you!! They are brand new babies, today is their fourth day so after doing some research I'm thinking they are too young for coccidiosis. Also, throughout the day the lavender took some food and yolk/water mix and ended up perking up a lot! Hopefully in the morning she'll be completely back...
whew thanks so much that's a little relieving. I couldn't feel anything hard in that area today yet, I'll check tonight but she did just eat from my hand a bit!! I gave them all some yolk/water mix. she seems to be perking up a little bit. no blood in their stool, it looks very uniform actually.
