    Are the Blue Orps as pleasant as the Buffs? They are beautiful but I love the Buffs. We have tried others that are also cold weather tolerant and they arent nearly as nice:D

    They do need 14 hours of light a day, and regardless of what anyone tells you, too hot or too cold will slow them down too. I dry out the egg shells, roll over them with a rolling pin and throuw the chips in with any other "good" food trash ( vege/fruit left overs, grains) for their evening...
