    Shabby Coturnix Roo

    My quail are all about 4 months old, but my roo has started to look really shabby. I assume he is molting, but he is the only one that looks like this. Is he healthy? His vent is fine and his eyes don't look puffy.

    Lone Coturnix

    I tried hatching shipped eggs in a home made incubator, and it looks like only one of my twenty eggs hatched. Is it okay to raise a coturnix by itself or should I look into finding some more chicks?
