    Confirming this is Sapphire Gem chickie.

    I purchased 4 sapphire gems and I have one that has the red feathers too. We also have a black chick. It looked like a darker blue color when we picked it out. These chicks have feathered out and grown so slowly. Is that your experience as well? Ours came from Hoovers.

    Just wondering if the eggs ever increased in size. Mine starting laying a few months ago and their eggs are the size of silkie eggs. I hope they get bigger!
