I hadn't thought about putting the brooder in the coop. We are new to this! last year we let the chics stay in the house for the first 2 weeks and then we moved them outside to the brooder until we got the coop and run built. We do have electricity to the coop, although we haven't used it...
That's an idea, then I could just section off a different area for them during the day. Are you also suggesting a door in the wall in between the different age groups...curious how that works. Thanks so much for your time and patience!
