    Her comb and wattles are, but not her earlobes. Why does that make a difference?

    I have a BR that just started laying, she is about 24or 25 weeks, but her eggs are white. Will they get brown as she ages? They also are more elongated than my other pullets.

    What would attack a chicken in broad daylight? Something carted off one of my chickens from the yard at 3 in the afternoon.     I can move it with my truck or tractor. It is on skids. I put it on skids for two reasons, one to move it and two so in the summer heat the chickens could get under it so they would have a cool spot out of the sun.
