    Changing waterer for winter

    How does any nipple waterer (heated or not) not freeze in the winter. I built a real nice unit, kept heated water in it BUT the nipples would freeze, i live in Missouri and I can't imagine it gets nearly as cold ssin Maine?

    What shape of roosts do you use in your chicken coop?

    I aftually use old branches of a tree, it gives them a rougher surface to hold on to and personally I think it looks cool.
