Just an update. Yesterday evening, my chick with suspected hip dislocation declined and was euthanized. Unfortunately, a splint to try to hold its legs level and attempting to set the leg using the dangle method did not work.

Older batch has one cockerel and two pullets. He’s already off trying to crow. My ratio for the younger batch of six is not looking great, but it could change over the next few days to a week as more traits further develop. It seems I may have four cockerels to two pullets.
