Does/is anybody a breeder in Ohio. Even in the western part of Pennsylvania, as I live near Youngstown. I'm looking for show birds preferably in Gold or Blue.
I have a duck with yellowish skin around the eyes and they look a little swollen. Also where the feathers are pulled out of the back of her neck from breeding and that skin is also yellow. Anybody have an idea what it could be? The county fair starts next week so I really need to get this...
Has anybody ever bought Butterscotch Calls from Holderread? I am wondering how they are. What is the quality of their show quality? I'm looking to buy a pair this fall and want to know what people have to say about Holderread's Calls.
I would go with the brand has the lowest protein, you don't want to have them grow too fast. I personally like purina feeds but there no feed mills in my area that sell it, so I don't know anything about it.
I have a trio of the German strain, the only birds I will ever have just because I like them. Next to the bantams. I got mine from Paul Simmons, in Ohio; he is a close friend.
