Sadly she may be 3 years old maybe older. She is pooping, i will definitely take her out of the water and dry her up and put her on a heating pad. She seems to enjoy the water and has relaxed into it. But i have to put her back because i must got shopping and will probably pick up some...
One of my very old hens, whom ive had for years now, is either dying or eggbound. I need help, im not positive if im right or wrong and would like to see if anyone has an idea. She's breathing heavy and constantly making like a tiny little croak. Her bottom feels fatter than usual and shes...
This is weird, I know. I was cracking my button quail hens unhatched eggs, she was setting and hatched one and abandoned the others. I then cracked my 3rd egg and found a baby that was ALIVE AFTER 3 DAYS OF BEING COLD. I just wanted to see what the babies would've looked like and I honestly...
Me and my mother actually "shaved" all the feathers off her head to be able to get to her eyes easier to do treatment. My mother went out and bout some spray, so I was thankful for that. We've been giving her egg everyday and it seems to be doing good!
Thanks for all the help guys! We don't really remember how old she is, we've had her for a while. She is a house chicken due to her being crippled, and another chicken has been with her during her being infested with lice and she doesn't have one speck of it. And button stopped eating and I'm...
If anyone remembers my disabled chicken button, you understand the struggle hopefully.
She isn't doing well, she has horrible lice, and I need help with it. It seems to make her not want to do anything and I don't understand what I am do to help. Everytime I hold her she just clings to me, like...
She'd only be able to push with one leg, but when she gets bigger I'll probably do so. I don't want to build one now and her outgrow it in one week. I completely believe as she puts on more weight it'll be more on the one leg, but she is pretty good at pushing herself along the towel in her cage...
I have one of my females do it..
I call it broody behavior she does it when she's laying eggs and decides she thinks she'll be a parent. But other then that, it could be submissive behavior I think, especially from a male.
Yep! I guess it will be something similar to what I did before, a brown silkie. But make this a more time consuming thing. She's a good chicken, all she needs is a hand but I'm trying to do what's best for her.. ❤️
She hops around even though she stumbles she gets to it on her own. She keeps a full crawl.
But she won't be going outside. I mean, for just playing yes but she'll have to stay inside with her leg. Our big hens would immediately kill her and I don't think she could do it on her own..
I take...
I don't think it'll be getting worse. She's under a 24 hour watch and with a little friend to supervise her too. I've noticed she's kept growing and it's been weeks, she's not normal size but she's getting their. I hope she'll be okay, the only time the leg seems to hurt is if you stretch it out.
Her leg doesn't bend outward? From what I read and saw that's what it all seemed to be was an outward leg..
But I do understand, I find that possible and possibly the correct answer here..
