    Black Sex-Link Picture Thread!

    All four of my Black sex-link mixes. We're not quite sure what they were mixed with because we got them from a nearby farmer. :) sorry for the bad picture quality. They're about 23 weeks right now :)

    White Leghorn, the forgotten breed

    This was extremely uplifting, becuas I'm getting 5, 3-4 week old white leghorn pullets on Thursday, and I'm INSANELY excited! These will be my first breed of birds that aren't quail! XD I think I've had quail a bit too long- they're not bond-y, not cuddly in the least, and yet my best friend...

    Badly wounded hen! Need some advice please!

    Give her antibiotics, and ask a vet about the pain- I had a quail hen cut open her head down to the skull- it was horrible, she got caught on some wire and ripped all the skin and muscle off! -but we washed the cut out and put antibiotic cream on it daily and she was fine. Good luck!

    Thanks... I feel really bad now about this... I was just trying to say that usually its just dust or food grains stuck in the chickens' noses.... I wish we could hear everyone's tone of voice and stuff.... That would be a lot easier..
