    I've seen the mating in the past, maybe their mating season is over or mayeb it's because I changed their cage... I might just end up buying eggs online

    Turns out it was just the shell being too thick to let light through. To be certain I cracked one open, and there was no blood whatsoever. Either my hen is infertile, or the rooster isn't doing his job. 😞

    Even if they are fertile, does that necessarily mean they are developing? It makes sense the others aren't, my girl is just over a year old.
