    I also had a similar color pattern with one of mine 3rd generation silkie the cuckoo pattern was coming in all over. Unfortunately a few days after the pics I lost her to varmin. I am trying for another I know the parents.

    Ditto what Cynthia 12 said a similar-looking chick of mine during the growing process and you still not sure if they will be the same. I have two examples that may help.

    Wow that would be a real change but a good looking birds. the red started coming in at 3 weeks out of nowhere she is the lighter one in the Forefront and another a few weeks older

    That is the best I have heard yet. Thank you. My opinion is constantly changing the legs and body are the same size if not smaller than the others of same age.

    Hello I may be a bit in denial here with all the red I'm hoping this is a n pullet the comb seems small at 8 weeks and I have no pointy feathers anywhere anybody's opinion would help

    I have a 6 week old that looks like the second one some red coming in was getting me worried but I see that it worked out well with your Pullet even has the same blue dots on the wings that is a good looking bird
