    Hi Adna, missed seeing this over the weekend. I’m about an hour ? from you. Greenville Illinois. I have only 10 ladies so far . 3 Easter Eggers, 2buffs,2barred rock, 2 gold lace Wyandottes,and 1 Rhode. Going to get more chicks Wednesday.

    Very true, we had that experience once, that roo didn’t last 10 minutes after it jumped at our young daughter! He did make a good dinner though:)

    Yes I am on the lookout for a rooster, would like a BBS Ameracauna, but not sure if I'm going to order fertile eggs or order from somewhere.
