Chickens are losing their neck feathers! (not molting)
I noticed that about 5 of 17 of my chicks are missing feathers around their necks especially, but in a few other places as well. (Different on each bird) After reading this post, I am assuming it is feather picking. I ordered some DE and Sevin 5% as well, just to ensure its not mites or lice...- c4eater

Hello there! Don't worry, simple alterations to your shed will do just fine. I will take some pics of the one I altered tomorrow. Along with some pics of the run in progress. Just remember to measure twice and cut once!- c4eater

Hey y'all!
Just joined here in SC on a recommendation from a friend in VA. My wife and I jumped right in with a mixed flock of 17 birds consisting of Welsummers, Black Stars and Barred Rocks. We converted a 8'x12' storage shed into the coop and will eventually have (hopefully this weekend) a 16'x32'...- c4eater
