I have lived across the globe, working with clients ranging from zoos to individual bird owners. I've dedicated my life to avian care and understanding—wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Many have asked: What is a Dsc. A DSc is a Doctor of Science — meaning we pick one extremely narrow subject and hyper-focus on it until our eyes practically bleed. As a result, veterinarians hate us because we write the textbooks and give the lectures but don’t spend enough time in the clinic, and ornithologists hate us because we don’t do enough fieldwork and spend too much time in the lab.

We’re basically the black sheep of the bird-study world.
