    Names?

    We just named our pearl white leghorns "Dumb" and "Dumber" because that's exactly what they are. The dumbest chicks of the bunch, good thing we only have 2! So pick something that goes with their personalities... when people ask "why'd you name them ...." you'll have a good story to tell.

    California - Northern

    I thought I lived in Northern Cal b/c I wasn't in the LA basin (Fresno County) but then I moved to Shasta Co. Now I'd submit that Northern Cal is anything Sac and north, and the bay area is it's own entity. Not north or south, maybe coastal? but that's just my 2 cents

    Fencing Question: Will they fly over?

    We are new at this and we have a challenge: We would like to separate our backyard into 2 sections, hens & children. My question is how tall does the fence need to be? Do we need to block their view? We're afraid that if the hens can see us they'll fly on over, but we'd like to be able to see...
