    What is this on my hens combs???

    My girls started getting these spots about 2 weeks ago. They are almost gone on the first that got it. I'm fairly new to raising chickens so I was worried but they seem to be coming through it just fine.

    I'm new too. And my chickens have also started getting these spots. I think its fowl pox which seems to be a virus transmitted by mosquitoes and flies. Looks like us Cajuns need some answers!

    Fowl pox?

    I have 8 chickens. A mixed flock. One of my chickens has black crusty spots on her comb. From my research, it seems to be fowl pox. I assume it will run its course through the flock. Will these spots go away? Is there anything I can do?
