    We bought them from a few different hatchery's in OH. As far as I know, getting them from hatchery's, they are purebred. Are you interested in adding a few more to your flock?

    We are in Bethel, 30 mins east of Cincinnati. Not vaccinated. We would be willing to part with any of the Rocks, Plymouth, Columbian, and Barred. They are great egg layers, and very healthy.

    Yes, we have fixed the rain barrel overflow problem. Its just the flash flooding/rain that is the culprit now.

    The crazy thing is, that the roof is covered on the side that puddles!! The sides are not covered, only in winter to block from the harsh cold winds. I'm guessing that it just sloped that bad, that ALL the water collects there. And I learned my lesson using straw, never again! The sun is shining...

    It has been raining non-stop here in SW Ohio. We've has flash floods everyday this week. And the run is flooded.     We just have too many to manage. If anyone in the Cincinnati would like some beautiful, sweet, great egg layers, please reply! We have 25- 1 year old hens. Would like to re-home about 10 of them.
