This is so cute! I've been trying to think of how to set up an outside grow out pen that could possibly withstand the various predators here. Something like this might work. Thanks for posting!
I use deep litter for my quail cages and it's been great all winter. However, I'm worried that come the heat and humidity of the summer, it may not be quite as dry and easy to care for. If I add either Coop 'N Compost or Sweet PDZ, I am certain my loveable idiots will eat it. Will this hurt them?

I think the person who had that posted an update that theirs was not deep enough. I would think (having had quail AND worm bins for a long time, however, without mixing them, so I am ALSO intrigued by this...) that using something deeper, like the depth of a large bin, would be a better bet...
