    Gender? 11 weeks old

Also, does the crazy stand up head feathers not mean rooster? What is that all about? Every chicken I've had before with that ended up being a rooster, but based on the responses so far that is not the case.

Are we for sure on 2 even without a super red comb? I kinda figured for 1 and 8. I guess his comb is bigger than all of the rest.

They're mixed. The dad is in my profile pic. I believe he's a blue birchin maran, but was sold to me as a barnyard mix. My hens are 2 Rhode Island reds, 3 jersey giants, 2 cochins, a white leghorn, an American bresse, and 1 black girl that idk what she is. 1 is definitely my leghorn's. I feel...

Have I accidentally killed my eggs?

This was when you very first started incubation? Like day 1? If that's the case I think they'll be just fine

    When to assist??

Any update? Are they acting stressed or making any noise? Are they making any progress at all?

    Genders for some Barnyard mix?

I'm thinking the same. 1 is very feisty, and just behaves like a rooster. 2 I'm thinking so just based on looks. I'm hoping 3 and 4 are pullets. So far I haven't seen anything that makes me doubt it. I'll try to remember to update once I know for sure eventually ☺️ thanks!

    Genders for some Barnyard mix?

So here's some oddballs I have. I got them all at the same time from a lady that has all kinds of chickens, so I don't really know what anyone is. They should all be about 9 weeks old. She said she had ameraucana, welsummers, barred rocks, olive eggers, white plymouths, and some others. I think...

    Jersey Giants/American bresse Genders?

Hi All! New here. Trying to get a head start on finding out my pullets from my cockerels with my newest group. I have 4 American bresses, and 3 jersey giants I'm doing in this post. They all came from the same breeder, and the breeder only has American bresse, and jersey giant chickens. They are...
