    It costs a bit more but if you buy pullets the chances go way down on you ending up with a rooster

    This breed sounds very interesting to me but I wonder if they would do alright in the cold New England winters? Before I order some chicks I have to know if they are hardy enough.

    You have more than we have here in SE New England by the Cape. Mostly rain now thank you. I am sure we will get it ( snow ) eventually.

    Hello neighbor I am in Rochester been raising hens for over 20 yrs now my son now 30 wants some chicks when he was 6 yrs old had hens ever since. Love it
