Used to work on boats for a living, now land-locked (if one must be land-locked, the Berkshire foothills is a sweet spot for it). Got a handy guy, two "spirited" daughters, the world's best dog (cattle-dog/border collie mix) and 5 acres. Also thought it would be a great idea to go to graduate school while raising two little kids (hint: it wasn't...but I'm in it now). Spend most of the year either looking forward to maple season, or eating our maple syrup in a variety of delicious ways.
