    Thanks for the help. I do keep wooden eggs in the nesting boxes. I have bean giving crushed egg shells back could that have to do anything with it?

    Two out of six of my chickens have stared laying about a week ago. I came out today and found this egg with a yellow glob on it and yellow on it too. Their was nothin on any of the other eggs they have layed. I dont know if thats normal or something's wrong with the chicken and if its safe to eat.

    Im fairly new to backyard chickens and i have a chicken that hasnt moved in a while and will kick dirt on her. I know it is normal for them to take dust baths.
