    Thanks... I know NOTHING about parrots.. My family has had a few caged birds, but not many.. We know a lady that runs a rescue center (in Nashville, TN, I believe.. It might be Franklin) and she has TONS of birds.. If all else fails, I can speak with her and ask what would be best suited for him...

    It works for me, so that's what I do.. We had one egg hatch.. I cracked the other two and they weren't alive, but they were fully developed.. One was even internally pipped.

    Out of the last three silkie eggs, only one chick hatched.. The others weren't alive.. When this one fluffs out, I will post pictures so we can see what this one's sister (I'm hoping..) looks like.. As of this moment, she doesn't look like she will be pure white, but it may just be all the ick...
