    Ok we have 7 chicks. 3 RIR 3 Red Stars and 1 Barred Rock. They are between 6 and 78 Wks old. Would it be ok to add a 24 wk old RIR to the coop? I was thinking that she might help train them to go into the hen house at night

    At what age do I need to add grit to their diets? And is it added to the feed or do I just sprinkle it around the coop run?
