    We are new to chickens. W have 14 hens and I am very worried about the upcoming cold snap. We have 2 heat lamps in the coop..what else should we do? So far we get between 10-14 eggs a day and they all seem ok. Any suggestions? Thanks!

    We have the run done and most of the coop. Just need inside walls and floor. Should we insulate? We used pallets for the frame it is 8 x 12. Also, any suggestions what to use for inside walls? Thanks!

    We live in Prior Lake..Scott County. We are also new to chickens. We are trying our hand at building a pallet coop. Hoping to find enough decent pallets to side it! But also concerned about the winter and will they be warm enough. :)

    Prior Lake, MN And still trying to figure out the best thing for our coop! W are thinking about a Rubbermaid 7x7 shed.
