    Mt.Healthy Hatchery is Awesome

    We ordered 100 chicks from Mt Healthy. I believe it was the meat bird bargain. Anyhow, they all arrive alive and healthy. That's 100 thriving babies! Haven't lost any yet. Needless to say I am very very pleased with this hatchery and would not hesitate to order from them again.

    I have 12 buff orp in bator right now. Keeping my fingers crossed that some hatch. This will be my first hatch ever.

    My baby RIR has no feathers on it's bottom!

    I have 3 young RIR chicks approx. One of them was sick a couple of weeks ago . By sick I mean he looked weak , didn't interact with the others, seemed to tremble and have some diarrhea. I separated him from the others for a couple of days and he improved. He now acts fine but he has no feathers...

    I am totally new and learning,about and from, my chickens. purchased Worm Guard Plus Broad Spectrum wormer and wanted to ask if anyone here knows anything about it and it's effectiveness. From reading and surfing it seems that many seem to prefer Ivomec Eprinex.
