8th Silkie, australorp, New Hampshire red So they are jumping on its back like they are mating with it. Do roosters Do this to other roosters or just to hens?

But I don't want it to mate with the hens just in case...thoughts?

Yes..they are separate from the roosters

That's what we thought but are second guessing now. We have 7 roosters (including this one) but it's the only one that gets attacked constantly. They won't leave it alone.

Is this a hen or rooster meat chicken? The other roosters constantly pick on it. It has never crowed that we know of.

We have 7 roosters that we are looking to trade for hens. We didn't want any roosters and ended up with 7 (ugh). 2 of them are meat chickens well overdue for butchering but so sweet. Located near Crawfordsville, IN. If you are interested I can post pics. Not looking to sell...just trade.

Oh no! Not what I wanted to hear :( looks like what we thought were egg layers aren't. Doesn't look like we are going to have many eggs as my chickens keep turning into roosters and meat chickens....😭😞😖

I have 2 of these white chickens and they are so fat. Any idea why? They also separate themselves from the others and tend to be loners.
