    One of my leghorn chickens has a nasty looking butt. I only have 4 and was getting 4 eggs daily. Now i am getting 3. I have not sat out there and watched who laid what but i suspect this one is not laying. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

    Well hello! I have leghorns and they were hatched by my daughter in law from Trader Joe fertilized eggs. I have 4. They lay beautiful white eggs and I have had a couple of double yolkers. They are my first and only chickens so I cant compare them to others.

    for some reason when I go to peel the shell off the egg i take 1/2 the egg with it. Can anyone tell me what i am doing wrong?
