    I am suspecting that some of our 3 week old Cornish cross has coccidiosis. Most are acting ok just have one theis lethargic and we are forcing fluids.     Companion question please help!!

    We recently had a raccoon attack that killed all but one of our chickens. Now that she is recovering we are wanting to get her a companion. Should we look at getting her an older chicken or a younger one that is just around egg laying she? She is a 2.5 year old Rhode Island Red. TIA
