    Hen laying funny egg?

    Is this a variation of normal? Just layer feed and the occasional dried fruit treats! Teriyaki just started laying, and this is what her eggs look like.

    Where do you get your food?

    X2 just ordered the 50lb bags that are on sale. My chickens have feathered beautifully and haven't ever gone through an ugly dinosaur phase. We knew when getting chicks we wanted thm free of garbage since we will eat their eggs

    I usually make my own buttermilk biscuits, but since I had baby #3 I haven't had the time lol. I am making homemade bierocks today though!

    Cut up a can of biscuits into quarters, lay in the bottom of 9x13 pan, brown 1lb sausage, reserve grease, add sausage on top of biscuits, sprinkle 1.5c grated cheese, then add 6 beaten eggs, using reserved grease make country gravy and poor on top! Bake at 350 for an hour. :)

    We bring chicks into our tub for playtime with scrambled eggs or some meal worms to make them love us! Lol. My 5 year old thoroughly enjoys this...as do the little chicky babies.
