    Marans Thread - breed discussion & pictures are welcome!

    I want to share with you my first 100 grams Marans egg: The other dark egg one is 63 grams weight and little one is from a Catalan dwarf breed called "Flor d'ametller" (blossom), 30 grams. I have black copper Marans from french breeders, 3 year chickens.

    Thank you! In Spain cartons eggs have 6 & 12 slots but in France have 6 too and 10 ! I don't know the reason (and I live a few kilometers from french border) Best regards, Marc
