Hi there, my name is Jeffery and I am a first-generation farmer. I own and operate Catch-a-Torri Farms in the Finger Lakes Region of Upstate New York.
I have owned chickens for 10 years; I just love all the different breeds and colors. About 8 years ago I decided to turn my hobby into a self-sufficient farm business. It has not been easy, but I firmly believe in the future of small family farms and providing a quality product and service to my customers. My birds are humanely raised and handled. The chickens spend their time out on pasture, in movable coops, or in barns that provide outdoor access. They are fed organic, all natural, non-GMO grains.
The farm mainly specializes in hatching and buying/selling day-old poultry. We offer our customers several breeds of egg laying chickens for commercial and backyard flocks. Our day-old chicks are sold here in our local community, throughout New York, and even as far away as Alaska. I take pride in helping educate new and returning customers on the proper way to raise and care for their animals.
Over the past year we have been working hard to expand our business to be a year-round single source supplier. This requires us to expand our flock to include more chickens and new breeds. As we continue to grow we partner with other suppliers.
We are farmers who believe in community, believe in having each other’s back, and believe in the American dream!
