    I have also ordered with cackle. I am please with my order I recieved. The only thing is if you try to call them the phone lines are always busy. But once i'm through they are nice customer service people that I dealt with.

    getting new chicks from cackle?

    The only thing worng with there customer service I find there phone is always busy.Seems like they have one phone for the whole place. I had a order that the post office routed worng and most of the chicks showed up DOA so Cackle replaced all 15 for me.

    I ordered 15 chicks from cackle. I was supposed to recieve them 7/18 and just got them today. 4 were DOA the post office screwed up they sent them to the wrong processing center.

    I prefer the smith&wesson insurance myself I've been around firearms my whole life(my father ran a gunsmithing business) and living in NJ our gun are the 3rd strict in the country. This is a state that will punish law biding citizens more then criminals

    243 is a smaller bullet and has a more flat trajectory(faster muzzle velocity),lighter recoil then a 30-06. But if I was going to hunt deer I would use a 30-06 or a 308 just because of the knockdown power of those cartridges.

    For racoons a 223 would do just fine.If you use a 30-06 for racoons you might aswell set-up a m60 machine gun for them but thats a 308
