This is probably a stupid question... I have not had silkies before now. Do they lay eggs as much as the other chickens? Do you eat their eggs or just for hatching? ?- cc-robinson

Yes...I can tell. The first one I got (the blue)thinking it was smooth but then noticed the feathers were different from the other two I got that were a little older. Then i went and got the partridge and another tiny blue. The partridge definitely looks different. love them all! I am hooked...- cc-robinson
