    I have a water heater for my chickens. Has worked well all winter. We put the cord inside conduit so the chickens couldn't peck it.

    Th They will probably almost outgrow it by the time you get them. Baby chicks grow so much faster than you think they will. I was super amazed last year when I got my first chicks.

    I am making oatmeal and feeding warm and they love it. Also allow feed to sour mixed with water 48 hours.

    I use a plastic colander, I have several and rotate. When I have 2 dozen I soak in a commercial egg wash and refrigerate.

    Has anyone used this waterer?

    I used to use that one but found it too difficult to clean. Even cleaning with a tooth brush didn't get the red cups clean.
