    [/IMG] I wonder if anyone can help - this bantam was dumped on us last night. A bloke just knocked on the door and asked if we'd take her! I've quarantined her - but I can't identify the breed or hybrid. She's a bantam and she's got some fluffy cheek feather stuff going on, white legs...

    Why does my chicken lay brown and white eggs?

    I have a hybrid bird that has laid olive green eggs until this week. Now she's laying blue eggs. Thanks to this thread I now understand that she's just failing to pigment her egg at the end of the laying process. I thought I was going quietly potty...
