    Devastated... Lost 7 of 13 chicks last night.

    So sorry for the loss!!! Keep the babies that survived!🙌🏻 We are a couple years into this and still learning every day. Our brooder box was enclosed and we did keep it protected from our boxer and cats. Now everyone is a happy family and my boxer helps me clean the coop and herd the girls...

    Lucky the cat is one of my rescues. He's incredible. He can't jump but doesn't seem to realize he's any different than his bff Koko (rescue black kitty )

    Looking for ideas on what to put down on the extended yard I've added to my coop. It's a grassy area and soon to be chicken poo. is it best to use a layer of shavings or sand with coop refresh?

    hello all! New to the BY chicken world and loving every bit of it. I live in San Jose CA and have two full grown hens and recently raised 4 chicks from 2 days old, who are now 7 wks. I've added recent pics attached. We converted a large swing structure and they love it!!!
