    I have wanted chickens my entire life and I finally got them a couple of years ago. I have 6 chickens. 2 Rhode Island Reds, 2 Ameraucanas, and 2 Red and white Sex Links. I have been learning as I go and hope to learn more through this group.

    Bald spots on one chicken and laying soft shell eggs

    I’ll have to take pictures, but I do not have a rooster and she’ll be 2 in March. She has a bald spot on her back and chest about the size of a quarter or a little bigger.

    Bald spots on one chicken and laying soft shell eggs

    I have a chicken that I thought was molting, but has been missing feathers for months and she lays soft shell eggs. Her comb is very red and healthy. She does not seem sick. Any advice?
