On to a positive note... Elsa has blessed us with a heifer again this year! Happy, bouncy little girl. WTG i adore this cow! What an excellent mother. And as usual they won't take shelter, stand out in the snow. The calves do sometimes but never the adults.

Totally agree here. I admit I really prefer feeding fermented feed. Especially to meat birds! Processing odors are non existent. Very healthy gut flora and helps so many other issues. My layer flock loves it too, and you will see a huge change in health and vigor. Feathering and egg laying will...

Thank you! I am so glad to help. Its never easier by any means, a dread for me taking a life. That's the very reason I offer workshops. I do still cry and I flat hate it. You may never find yourself totally ok with it, honestly hope you don't but you will come to terms with it if you want...

Hey everyone! :frow Camping is winding down, other life events settled down for us, and will be back on here as a regular very soon! I try to mention every early spring, and fall is a very good time to check your coop security. Fix a loose board or piece of fence, that type thing. In fall the...

I had a pair a few years back and they were ADORABLE! Very sweet and good Moms. Think @wheezy50 got them from me but can't remember for sure. It sounds respiratory for sure. I would treat, if it helps, great. If not you know you've done what you can.

Yes and heis stunning! I have a LGD named Belle. she's a great Pyrenees. She primarily takes care of my goats. My Ameruacana flock also lives with her, zero losses and I adore her. Spayed or neutered dogs perform better and wont try to roam.
