Thank you all. The pattern lead me to believe female, but soooooo slow to feather out. We kept them back when we delivered the cockerels to my friend's farm. 🤞🤞🤞

I have three dark brahma chicks that are 5 weeks old. 1 has dark solid wing feathers that, imo, mean it's a male. The other two do not have the solid, but are about as slow to feather out....maybe a tad...
This chick hatched from an egg collected from a blue/buff pen according to the breeder. I am told there is a blue partridge hen in there as well and it does look like the chick may have the partridge chipmunk patterning, just in a very light buff/blue coloration. Any idea on what color "she"...
Its so hard to see them suffer. Just remember that you are trying your best. What happens is out of your control, but at least you are loving on this little one! ❤
