    5 week old Dark Brahma

Thank you all. The pattern lead me to believe female, but soooooo slow to feather out. We kept them back when we delivered the cockerels to my friend's farm. 🤞🤞🤞

Hi, I'm new - Bonnie from Wisconsin Dells, WI

I work (when not under Stay at Home) in the Dells. Welcome! I am a little late in my welcome and wonder if you've added the chicks to your family yet?

    5 week old Dark Brahma

I asked this in one of the brahma FB groups, but am trying to get as much feedback as I can. I have three dark brahma chicks that are 5 weeks old. 1 has dark solid wing feathers that, imo, mean it's a male. The other two do not have the solid, but are about as slow to feather out....maybe a tad...

    Newly hatched -wry neck?

😁 Very true! This was my first ever hatch too. We are completely in love though, so its probably not my last (Shhhh). 😂

    Newly hatched -wry neck?

Thank you for asking. She is doing quite well. She is more melliw than the other 8, but shows no physical signs of her early struggles, thankfully!

What color brahma do you think this chick is?

Really? Crazy how different down colors can end up in the same adult colors. Hete's the "normal" buff baby.

What color brahma do you think this chick is?

This chick hatched from an egg collected from a blue/buff pen according to the breeder. I am told there is a blue partridge hen in there as well and it does look like the chick may have the partridge chipmunk patterning, just in a very light buff/blue coloration. Any idea on what color "she"...

    Newly hatched-wry neck?

Its so hard to see them suffer. Just remember that you are trying your best. What happens is out of your control, but at least you are loving on this little one! ❤
