    Wow, they DO look alike - comb/wattles and tail feathers that point upwards! Spaceship is such a sweetheart, I hope he'll be a kind rooster. It is a bummer though - especially since you only have 3 chicks!

    Unbelievable growth!

    I went away for work for 2 days and they all seemed to grow combs while I was away! And they get so many new feathers overnight! And their legs are getting so thick! Definitely amazing to see.

    I'm new to chicks but I think that is too low during both day and night for 2 week old chicks. I was also really nervous about having a heatlamp in the house! I've used a 90w red floodlight for a week now and haven't had any problems - if feels toasty when I put my hand under it and the chicks...
